Chaos In The CDB – Ball & Chain + Rolling 84′s
Aukland duo Chaos In The CDB is set to release a new EP this coming September, so I have been patiently waiting for them to tease us with a couple new tracks to hold us over. “Ball & Chain” is a much slower track, not in BPM, but rather in mood and tone. I can see myself listening to this song on a daytime beach mix, or maybe even something to unwind too when I get home at 8am from a night out with the crew. Simple and soothing feminine vocals to go along with a subtle acid base line very nicely. I almost think they should make a sexy music video to go along with this one… just saying. Chaos In The CDB also gives us an A side track from their up coming EP, titled Rolling 84′s. This song has some unique sounds, it is very technical and detailed, exactly what I expect from these two producers. Deep vocal samples and a fast tempo that gets your feet moving. I am excited to hear the rest of the EP, hopefully we can get our hands on it before September, but in the mean time, enjoy the early gift and keep the bender going.
