Culprit Rooftop Sessions @The Standard | Episode 5 | My Favorite Robot, Droog & Bas Comments

The zenith of the summer season is upon us, which means open-air parties are all the rage, with enticing events popping up everywhere (MS/DS being just one of them). Upholding their commitment to only top quality al fresco entertainment, the Culprit team is back at the Standard next Sunday with a very worthwhile group of Djs plotting to set the rooftop ablaze (not literally, of course).
Continuing their obvious affection for Canadian talent is the fast-rising My Favorite Robot trio. Very much Culprit and Droog‘s equivalent north of the border, these fellas have been building a whole movement around themselves, based in Toronto (and Montreal) – DJs with a burgeoning global reputation, a live act armed not with one but two fantastic vocalists, label chiefs (MFR has, arguably, picked up Wagon Repair’ torch as the top Canadian underground imprint), hosts of great parties around the world.
These incredibly talented fellas are on the dance music frontlines, breaking new ground and staying true to the highest standards of taste. So give a warm welcome to Jared Simms, James Teej and Voytek Korab for their collective’s LA debut (James Teej was Sasha’s featured live guest at Avalon this year) and in addition to DJing will perform some of the songs live.
For only the second time this season, we will extend our discounted $10 entry until 3pm. Deal alert!
Steering the first half of the party will be your hosts Droog who invite a rooftop regular and one half of Plastic Love, Bas:
