NiT GriT – Give Up
NiT GriT has been one of my favorite dubstep/glitch-hop artists for some time now. Hands down – if he’s spinning in LA, I’ll be there. Melodic dubstep and NiT GriT are synonymous in my mind and his new track Give Up certainly delivers. This new release seems to be more than just another track to NiT GriT, as he had this to say upon it’s publication:
I have been a little stagnate on my music making lately. I apologize for that. I think a lot of it has to do with me changing as a individual. The person I was when I started this project, to who I am now, are two completely different people. I guess thats just growing up. The way I perceive my life and my experiences are obviously going to influence the music I make. I dont know if I will always be making Dubstep or EDM music forever, nor do I think anyone would want that. But I assure you I will always keep making music. As an musician, you always have to keep pushing yourself and your boundaries. Dont ever get to confortable…
This is the first track that I’ve made in a long time that truly resinated with me while I made it. As Cliché as it sounds, to me this track represents letting go of the past and embracing whats to come in the future. Its still a WIP, but I didn’t want to hoard it from you guys. I hope you enjoy it!
