Old School Dub Vibes | KillSonik, Dela, Ohay Comments

Luca and Joe, a.k.a. KillSonik, hardly need any introduction. Rising from the ashes of Chasing Shadows back in 2009, the duo has been steadily cranking out pure evil, unique originals and remixes. Since signing exclusively with MTA Records in 2011, their material has only gotten better. KillSonik’s latest original titled “Girly” perfectly blends old school garage vibes with incredibly heavy basslines and a beautifully catchy vocals; listen for yourself and you may agree with me that this is the biggest track of 2012 thus far.

Next up is a deep, thought-provoking, yet gleefully brutal mix from Dela, a producer and DJ from Moontribe. If you see her unassuming countenance, you would certainly never expect her to be the creator of such monstrous tunes. Have a listen to her “Free Your Mind” mix (especially the tune at 10 minutes in) and let her music speak for itself. With large, eerie soundscaping, fat drum beats, and haunting sub bass, Dela brings dubstep back to its roots without losing any of the power of modern production.

Last, but hopefully not least, a remix that I recently finished up of Doctor P and vocalist Jenna G.’s “Neon.” I will not say much about this other than that I hope you enjoy it and download it, and if you do, please check out my Facebook here and like my page.
