The massive EDM gathering that is Playa Del Carmen’s BPM Festival is always one of the most anticipated electronic dance music events on the planet. With more than 50 of the worlds top artists having already been confirmed for their upcoming 2013 Festival, taking place from January 4th through the 13th.

What’s been announced so far is only “Phase 1″ of BPM’s total lineup, but as anyone familiar with the festival would probably expect by now, it still includes a whopping portion of today’s biggest house and tech house DJs. As in years past, Crosstown Rebels and Hot Creations are well-represented, with the likes of Damian Lazarus,Art Department, Maceo Plex, Jamie Jones and Lee Foss all confirmed. Seth Troxler, Shaun Reeves and Ryan Crosson will fly the flag for Visionquest, and Lee Burridge will bring the mellower vibes of All Day I Dream. Festival debuts will come from Carl Cox, Benoit & Sergio, Sven Väth, Dixon, Cassy, Eats Everything, Sasha,Luciano, Justin Martin and Tale Of Us. Other highlights include Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Soul Clap and Wolf + Lamb.
The program is split into daytime and nighttime showcases hosted by different crews and record labels. In addition to those mentioned above, the list so far includes Life and Death, No. 19, Cécille Records, Leftroom, Minus, SCI + TEC, Culprit, Cocoon and Circo Loco.
