Pretty Lights – We Must Go On | Video
Colorado native and Boulder homegrown hero, Derek Vincent Smith aka Pretty Lights, just released an official video for his most recent track “We Must Go On”. Smith goes back to his early days of melodies and heavy sampling to produce this soulful, chilling song that I think fans both new and old will surely enjoy. The video is self produced in collaboration with Krystle Blackburn, Pretty Lights Music’s Creative Director. The two traveled together all over the world during 2011 and filmed as much as their schedules would allow. They sampled bits and pieces of their footage to create this video. Some of the locations shot were Detroit, Warsaw, NYC, Vancouver, Toronto, London, Paris, Prague, New Orleans, Auckland, Sydney, Denver and many more. The footage comes from 2 canon 7Ds, utilizing different lenses and edited in FCP X.
