End of the year 90, beginning of the year 2000, France managed to attract the international press thanks to a bunch of young particularly inspired electro producers. Inspired by house music, while drawing its roots in funk and disco music, it has given birth to many callings: a new generation of kids who know their Cassius, their Daft Punk, and their Alan Braxe by heart. This new generation includes none other than the Vernon man himself, Thony Ritz. Here he gives us a killer remix of the 1980′s British band Spandau Ballet’s hit single “True”, and throws that Nu-Disco touch on it. End result, a summer smash that I have a feeling will be played in quite a few DJ’s playlists for 2012.
