But you can’t always dress like you’re going to a show—and if it were me, I wouldn’t dress that way even if I were going to see someone spin live. Loafers have been a go-to as a casual look with a bit more class and style. Now, they’re feeling a bit stale and the monk-strap just looks like it’s trying too hard. That’s why I’m all about tassels for 2012. They have the flare that stands out in a crowd but maintains a laid back cool that doesn’t come easy.
