The Mansisters – E.P. Phone Home | EP Comments
The Mansisters is the new moniker of Scandinavian duo Kasper Bjørke and Jon Atli / Sexy Lazer, a pair who have both had previous successes as producers on the individual level and now have decided to recently work together under this new project. “Now, so the story goes, they have joined forces and set up camp together in a huge Copenhagen mansion where they live with a host of plastic & porcelain animals, apparently not having time for real pets due to their dance floor commitments.’ The Mansisters have been hard at work, in their at home studio and are releasing their debut E.P. on November 19th, creatively named ‘E.P. Phone Home.’ The digital package also comes with an instrumental version of ‘Izone’ for those of you who prefer things a little less vocal. This is dark electro disco at its core and with ‘My Favorite Robot Records’ behind them, I can honestly see these two coming out with many more tracks as ‘The Mansisters’ after the release. This E.P. is eerie and very interesting to say the least, you might love it, or hate it, but you can’t deny the talent. Enjoy.
