Ultra Music Festival 2012 Lineup (Phase One)
rollingTUFF has been monitoring Ultra Music Festival news regarding the 2012 Phase One Lineup and we think it’s safe to say this will be the biggest year yet. According to Miami Music Week Knife Party, New Order, and Armin van Buuren will be a part of the first phase lineup. The early bird tickets almost sold out immediately, so tickets are selling at a record pace this year.
As the universe’s most popular open air electronic music occasion, UMF has won “Best Music Event” by the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) from 2005 – 2010, “Best International Dance Music Festival” by the Ibiza DJ Awards in 2008 and “Best Festival” by the Village Voice Media New Times continuously five years running from 2005 through 2009.
In 2010, UMF was distinguished as the fourth Top Grossing Concert by Pollstar’s mid-year issue and saw something greater than 100,000 actively present people hailing from 68 nations and territories and every one of the 50 U.S. states and Puerto Rico. UMF keeps developing globally with UMF Ibiza and UMF Brasil in Sao Paulo on November 6.
